By scheduling laundry services with Buie Bubbles Laundry Co., you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. General Service Terms
All laundry items must be machine washable, able to be washed with water, on a normal washing cycle, and tumble-dried. Buie Bubbles Laundry Co is not responsible for any damage to clothing or laundry articles that are not suitable for this process. We do not check clothing tags for care instructions. We have the right to refuse service to anyone.
2. Damaged Items
Buie Bubbles Laundry Co cannot be held liable for weaknesses, defects, or pre-existing damage in fabric that may result in tears, holes, or other issues after washing and drying.
We do not guarantee against color loss, color bleeding, shrinkage, or damage to delicate fabrics or embellishments (buttons, beads, ties, zippers, etc.). Our liability for any damaged item shall not exceed two (2) times the charge for cleaning that specific garment, regardless of its brand or condition.
3. Lost or Forgotten Items
Please check all pockets before submitting laundry. Buie Bubbles Laundry Co is not responsible for lost items or laundry damaged by objects left in pockets (e.g., pens, markers, lipstick, gum, etc.). While we make an effort to check pockets, it is ultimately your responsibility.
If you believe an item is missing, report it via email to buiebubbleslaundryco@gmail.com within 24 hours of drop off. We will make reasonable efforts to track it, but any item unclaimed after 14 days will be considered lost. If Buie Bubbles Laundry Co is responsible for the loss, we will offer a reasonable replacement or reimbursement.
4. Contaminated Items
We cannot accept or process laundry that contains:
- Bodily fluids (human or pet)
- Excessive pet hair
- Wet or damp items
- Mildew
- Bedbugs or other infestations
- Poison ivy, poison oak, or hazardous chemicals
If such items are found in your laundry, we reserve the right to refuse service, we will return this item unwashed unless it is a safety hazard to our staff. If the item is a safety hazard to our staff we will inform you of the contaminated item.
5. Stains & Special Care Requests
For stains, please include a note detailing their origin. While we will make our best effort, we cannot guarantee complete stain removal as some stains may be permanent.
Dry clean-only items: Please ensure that no dry clean-only garments are included in your laundry. Buie Bubbles Laundry Co is not responsible for any dry clean-only items damaged in our wash-and-fold process.
6. Pick-Up & Drop-Off Policy
Customers are responsible for securing their laundry before pickup and after drop-off. Buie Bubbles Laundry Co is not liable for lost or stolen items before pickup or after delivery.
- Pick-Up Notice: We will send a text message informing you we are on our way.
- Confirmation: A photo confirmation will be sent once your laundry has been picked up.
- Missed Pick-Up Fee: If your laundry is not available at the scheduled time, a $10 missed pick-up fee will be paid from the initial booking charge and will not be applied to your balance.
- Pick up/Delivery: Our staff do not go inside any privately owned spaces or residences. Our staff will not enter your home, apartment, car, garage or backyard for safety purposes. Please provide as much information as possible on the location you leave your bags for pick up. Please choose a SAFE and SECURE location you feel comfortable having your items picked up or delivered. We will notify you when we are on our way, arrive and pick up or deliver. We will also provide a photo for confirmation.
7. Service Fees & Minimums
- Same-Day Orders: $2.00 per lb ($50 minimum order required)
- Next day orders $1.00 per lb ($30 minimum order required)
- 2-Day Orders: $1.50 per lb (no minimum order)
- Booking Fee: A $10 non-refundable booking fee applies to all scheduled services.
8. Cancellation or Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change. To ensure smooth operations and accommodate all our customers, we have established the following cancellation and rescheduling policy:
- Cancellations & Rescheduling: Customers must notify us at least 3 hours before their scheduled pickup time if they need to cancel or reschedule their service.
- Late Cancellations: If a customer cancels within 3 hours of their scheduled pickup time or fails to leave their laundry out for collection, they forfeit their $10 non-refundable booking fee.
- Rescheduling: Customers who provide at least 3 hours’ notice may reschedule their pickup without penalty.
- Missed Pickups: If our team arrives and the laundry is not available for pickup, the $10 booking fee will not be refunded, and a new appointment must be scheduled with an additional booking fee.
9. Not acceptable items
At this time we are unable to accept the following items below. Please do not include them in your pile, if we identify them at time of sorting we will let you know via email and inform you that we are unfortunately able to wash it.
Pillows, curtains, commercial linens, sofa covers, rugs or any contaminated items. We also do not accept specialty care items like wedding dresses, vintage clothes, costumes, hats/headwear, shoes, fur or animal products, purse or handbags.
10. Unpaid invoices
All balances must be paid in full within 14 days from the date of invoicing. If the balance is not settled within this period, the laundry items will not be returned, and they will be considered forfeited after 14 days. Payment must be received before the 14-day deadline to ensure the return of your items.
